WE ARE ACCEPTING DEPOSITS NOW FOR A BUTCHER DATE IN SPRING 2026
We grass-feed and grain finish on pasture with local non-GMO grain to give our beef improved flavor, marbling, and tenderness. Our cows are naturally raised without antibiotics*, hormones, or the use of pesticides on our farm. They are supplemented with non-GMO corn silage that we grow ourselves and local hay. We harvest our beef around 2 years of age when they weigh between 1000-1200 pounds, producing approximately 200 lbs of packaged beef for a half cow. We will take the live animal to the butcher and you will have the ability to customize your cuts. You will pay the processor for butcher fees and pay Thompson Family Farm for the animal.

*While our goal is to raise our animals 100% naturally we will use antibiotics very sparingly under life and death circumstances. Any animal given antibiotics will not be sold for meat until approved wait time has been met and exceeded.
